Safe, Secure, Stylish Grey Composite Balustrades

garden balustrades - grey

Project Background

A customer was looking to upgrade their 25 square metre rotten timber decking and patio paved balcony space. The proposed balustrades needed to be easy-to-clean, long lasting, low maintenance, and be safe for their young children, as the balcony was raised half a metre above the surface level of the lawn. It needed to match the more modern design of the rest of the house and garden, whilst remaining practical and secure.

Our Proposal

After initially stripping away the rotten timber balcony and washed-out patio slabs, our approved installers at Bristol Decking Solutions put forward our grey decking and balustrade option. The composite balustrades provided a safe, sturdy protective border for the balcony space, with the composite material it is made of ensuring it will not rot like the previous wooden build. Steps gently eased the transition from the balcony onto the lawn, using our edge boards to cover the exposed, sharper corners. Unlike the timber and patio before, the grey decking and balustrades were perfectly matched together, creating a stylised, consistent garden design to be enjoyed all year around.

On top of this, the metal framework beneath the composite material makes our balustrades are far more structurally sound product, meaning it is a safer, more dependable protective barrier for any raised decking or balcony builds. Finally, with our customisable, modular system, and our range of gorgeous colours, our composite solution provides you with more oppurtunities to create a balustrade that properly fits in with your space.
