Our composite balustrade posts are created to form a part of our balustrade range, perfectly complementing our composite decking and cladding ranges. Composite decking posts and rails function to create a safe perimeter around garden patios, balconies and raised decks. Made from composite wood, our posts do not weather, warp, crack or rot and are guaranteed for 25 years.
Unlike timber posts, composite balustrade posts are designed to deal with extreme weather conditions. Timber posts can become damaged over time. This can weaken the integrity of your balustrade and can be dangerous if used on a balcony or raised deck.
Technical Specifications Of Composite Balustrade Posts
Designed to be fixed directly into decking joists, concrete or steel, the posts are supplied in parts, a steel post mount and a composite sleeve which slides over the post mount. For straight and flat installation, components need to be cut to the proper design height of 1160 mm (45.66″) for the composite sleeve and 1130mm (44.49″) for the steel post mount. Posts heights will differ for stair balustrades, so please refer to the installation guide for more information.

You don’t need to use any special detergents or composite cleaner to maintain your posts, just use warm soapy water and a little elbow grease to bring them back up to a shiny gleam.
