Project Background

This customer was keen to update her previously unloved outdoor space that was in desperate need of a contemporary, low-maintenance upgrade. A full makeover was what was required and that was certainly what was achieved.

The client expressed an interest in a flooring solution that complemented and was in keeping with the contemporary finish on their interiors. They opted for a corner deck design to sit at the back of their home garden with an artificial grass entrance.

Our Proposal

The client came to us in the knowledge that composite decking was a low-maintenance solution that would work perfectly for their space. Already a lover of grey, the client wanted to create a look that complemented the modern space that they had in mind. The grey-coloured NeoTimber® Classic composite deck board, fixed using our 3mm Fast Clips, with a corner trim perimeter for the steps seemed the perfect choice for the requirements of the customer.

The strength of the Classic board seemed like the ideal choice due to the large amounts of furniture on the deck. The corner trim perimeter offered an ideal framing effect that neatened up the exposed edges of the steps. The deck, alongside a newly rendered white wall, artificial grass, and some contemporary furniture truly transformed this previously unloved space.
