Eco Friendly Composite Cladding

NeoTimber® take their commitment to sustainability seriously. We only use recycled materials in our recycled composite cladding: reused industrial wood fibres and recycled plastic.

Each of our cladding boards contains approximately 3.45kg of recycled plastic and we are responsible for recycling over 1,000 tonnes of plastic each and every year. Despite the natural look and feel of wood, to keep sustainable timber cladding looking good it must be treated. Most timber treatment paint and oils contain a cocktail of chemicals which contain fungicide and insecticides to prevent erosion, fungal growth and wood-boring insects from damaging timber. It is no secret that many of these aren’t particularly pleasant on the environment.

Because NeoTimber® composite cladding is not a timber product, it does not require treatment in the same way that wood does. Comprised of composite materials, NeoTimber® cladding does not erode and requires no sanding, painting, staining or varnishing. Just a regular clean with household cleaning products.
