You’ve sorted your seating area, but what about fencing for decks and patios? NeoTimber® supply the complete composite fencing solution.
Garden fencing is an essential part of your outdoor design, helping you to define the perimeters of your own outdoor domain. With many factors to consider when choosing the fencing material to border your space, from ease of installation, how customisable it is, fence and deck prices and the ever-present value for money, it can be difficult to decide what type of fencing to choose. With this in mind, what qualities of composite makes NeoTimber’s range of fencing perfect for decks and patios?
The Big Benefits Of Composite Fencing For Decks And Patios
Easy Installation
Our fencing for decks and patios is designed to be installed onto a range of different surfaces, including concrete and existing decking (to create that ideal fence and deck combination). Fence and deck installation is made easy, as the base plates included in the post set for solid ground gives you the ability to fix through a variety of materials. While, as standard, the product comes with screws that are suitable for fixing the post base into concrete, alternative fixings can be used to fix fence around deck or decking against fence. Furthermore, the individual composite fence slats that make up the fencing can be seamlessly stacked on top of one another, slotting into place into the recess of the composite fence post sleeve, making it easier than ever to create a neat, visually stunning fence on deck garden border. Gone are the days where you see a fence made from decking, or the laborious, time-consuming process of treating timber boards before installing; simply click your composite fence boards into place, and you’re good to go.
Modular Design
With lots of composite fencing, it’s very much a sense of one size fits all. However, at NeoTimber®, we understand that you may already own a fence that you just want to improve, or you have inherited a fence from the last homeowners. We don’t like to see any wastage, so with this in mind, all our fencing can be adapted to fix to existing timber and concrete posts with our post inserts, meaning you can rejuvenate your garden border without needing to dig up your old fence foundations. Additionally, our fencing comes in a range of high quality, premium colours, including charcoal, antique, teak, grey and chocolate. These tones perfectly match up to any existing NeoTimber® composite products, including our decking, cladding and balustrade ranges. We also offer two finishes, namely our Deluxe and Slatted range. Each tone has been selected for its modernity, and with the board’s etched woodgrain texture, you can emulate the look and feel of real, natural timber, without the painstaking upkeep associated with real wood.
Low Maintenance
Our fencing is unique as it is capped, which means the composite material making up the board is protected by a thin, tough layer of plastic. This extra layer provides our fencing with plenty of big advantages, namely being the fact that it’s fade-resistant, ensuring that your composite fencing boards and composite fencing posts keep their good looks for years to come. The fencing colour of many other types of composite fencing slowly begins to dull and flatten without this extra layer, especially when your garden is facing direct sunlight. Another benefit of capped composite material is how it is low maintenance and how easy it is to clean. With both timber and traditional composite boards, your fencing can be plagued by irritating water staining and algae. Whilst these can be washed off, with an airtight plastic outer shell to our fencing, you can simply hose down the surface of the boards without worrying if the moisture will get locked into the material.
Screen Your Garden
We all want our garden and patio space to feel like our own private sanctuary, far away from the worries and stresses of modern life. Our NeoTimber® composite fencing allows for a gapless, stylish screening to completely border your own space, or to separate different sections of your garden to create individual zones. A gapless fence need not completely block out any natural light from entering your garden, however. The optional decorative cut out fence screen designs that can fit onto the top of your fence boards are not only an intriguing talking point, but also have the added bonus of allowing sunlight into your perfect outdoor sanctuary. The NeoTimber® range of decorative fence screens are made from marine-grade aluminium and are powder coated to colour match the fencing, decking, cladding and balustrade categories. They also come in a variety of styles including contemporary, geometric, leaf and linear options.
