Description

Opt for the NeoTimber® Composite Joist when you need a dependable, low-maintenance subframe solution for your cladding installation. Manufactured from the same premium wood-polymer composite as our composite cladding boards, this joist is engineered for strength, stability, and long service life.

Measuring 59mm x 40mm x 3600mm and weighing 5.54kg per length, it’s lightweight enough for easy handling yet strong enough to form a reliable support structure. The composite construction is resistant to rot, warping, and splitting, meaning less upkeep over time.

Installed behind cladding panels, the joist helps create a ventilated cavity, encouraging airflow to reduce moisture build-up and extend the lifespan of your cladding system. Its charcoal finish works well with contemporary exteriors, providing a discreet, professional look.

Sustainability is at the core of our composite manufacturing process. The wood content in our Composite Cladding Joist is FSC® 100% certified, ensuring it comes from responsibly managed forests. In addition, we incorporate recycled plastics into production, helping to minimise environmental impact.

The NeoTimber® Composite Cladding Joist is available in convenient 3.6m lengths, simply measure your framework requirements and use our calculator to determine how many joists you’ll need. With NeoTimber®, you get a subframe solution that combines strength, function, and style in one.
