NeoTimber’s composite balustrade systems are the perfect design addition to your outdoor project.
With many different composite balustrade systems on the market, it can be difficult to find something that truly matches the design ambitions of your space. At NeoTimber® however, we have created our balustrades in component form, to help with customisation. On top of this, we have colour-matched our pre made balustrade designs to our existing composite decking, fencing, and cladding products, to create a full, seamless solution. In this article, we take a look at how you can transform your decking with our new composite balustrade systems, and how these composite balustrade kits can really help elevate the look and feel of your space.
Adaptable Balustrade Systems
NeoTimber’s composite balustrade kits can be fitted on top of straight surfaces or installed as stairs, making them perfect for a wide range of different applications. These can include a bannister for walkways, a border for a low-rise balcony, or handrails for decking. They can also installed onto a concrete surface, or on top of the decking boards themselves.
Click on our installation resources to learn more about how to build our balustrades onto each of these surfaces. Although a pre made balustrade can be built as a DIY project, we would always recommend using one of our approved installers to help you complete the project professionally. These installers have had plenty of experience using NeoTimber® products, and are normally the first to give us any feedback about how our composite balustrade system works. You can see some of their brilliant work by exploring our case studies page or by checking out our Instagram account.
Balustrade Kits & Exemplary Design
Along with our decking, cladding, and fencing, all of our composite balustrades can be purchased in a variety of rich colours. For a more realistic, natural space, we would recommend choosing our brown teak or chocolate tones. For a subtle, neutral design, you can choose from our soft, stone antique or grey. Finally, if you want something modern and eye-catching, you can specify charcoal. All of these colours have been matched to pair with the rest of our range, should you choose to build the full NeoTimber® solution.
Both the railing and posts of our ready made balustrade for decking application are made from capped composite material, protecting it from the damaging effects of moisture and sunlight. This capped surface has the added bonus of making the material easier to clean, needing only a simple wipe-down should any staining occur. Compare this to the maintenance involved with other balustrade alternatives. For example, timber balustrades will need to be annually stained with preservatives to stop the effects of rot, and glass balustrades need a special cleaner to keep them at their glittering best.
Plan Your Pre Made Balustrade Build
Sometimes, when ordering a ready made balustrade for decking, seeing really is believing. Alternatively, you can see the best of the best from our previous customers with our case studies page, or explore our gallery and applications pages.
We also understand the need to have something physical and tangible in front of you before making a decision. By filling in our quick, simple online form, you can get balustrade cut-off samples sent directly to your door, completely free of charge.
