An Introduction To NeoTimber® LED Decking Lights

Following on from the successful launch of our antique and charcoal composite decking ranges at the end of 2020, we are delighted to announce the launch of a new NeoTimber® LED decking lighting kit.

During lockdown, many of us have chosen to upgrade our outdoor living space, making it more than just a garden. The popularity of home-made bars, outdoor rooms and pergolas, means that with the simple addition of an outdoor heater, outdoor living is no longer reserved for one season of the year. Making the best use of your outdoor living area all year round has become more of a priority.

With this in mind, and with nights drawing in as the clocks go forward, lighting your garden well is a necessity to maximising your enjoyment of your outdoor living. Whether hosting a Halloween party, a firework display or preparing for Christmas, that extra space is especially useful when friends and family come over.

NeoTimber’s new range of LED decking lighting lets you utilise that space safely by enabling you to install lighting into your deck. This makes it much easier for you to navigate steps and drops, highlighting important pathways within your composite deck.

We would recommend placing at 30 – 40 cm intervals only to maximise efficiency and illumination.

Our custom-built warm white LED 0.6W decking lights are 30mm in diameter, come in packs of 10 and are designed to fit perfectly into our composite decking boards. Fitted with a clear filter they are mains powered with a 240V plug and built to CE ROHS certification. NeoTimber’s LED decking lights offer brighter, safer illumination. They’re also easy to install, simply drill your hole, link up the connectors and fit the light into the recess.
