Commercial – Picnic Tables

Project Background

A local business was looking to replace the slowly rotting timber outdoor seating for their company headquarters with something more long-lasting. Asked for a comment, the company purchaser had this to say: “The employees were complaining about our old timber table sets in the outdoor seating and smoking space, as the seats were often sodden, and uncomfortable to sit on. We needed replacements that were easy to wipe down of any standing water, and a bit more modern looking, as the wooden tables were green with algae and unsightly.”

Our Proposal

After discussing the specifics of the space with our sales team, the company purchaser opted for x6 brown A Frame picnic tables. “The table sets are definitely much comfier and are easier to wipe down if there’s been any rainfall overnight,” he said. “Because we’ve kept our seating in a sun trap, most of the water just evaporates, but it looks far smarter and is much easier to look after than what we had before.” The brown tone was chosen to give the outdoor space a more naturalistic feeling, in contrast with the design of the building itself.
