NeoTimber decking can only be installed over a solid surface when using a joist network and we recommend using our composite joists which have been designed specifically for this purpose. Please see our installation guide for more information and how to install using our concealed FastClip system. Using our composite subframe solution, while recommended, is not a necessary requirement and it is possible to install our boards onto alternative subframe materials, such as timber or metal.
