Contemporary Garden – Deluxe Grey

Project Background

The project brief was to create a large L shape space to accommodate for entertaining but also to complement the already laid porcelain tiles. A busy family home required a durable, low-maintenance decking solution that was in keeping with the already contemporary feel of the outdoor space.

The garden space was pretty large, so a decent-sized deck was needed to fill the corner next to the house. With the bi-fold doors which were installed around the same time, it meant that the garden decking area was just an extension of the client’s kitchen dining area inside and made it the perfect entertaining space for summer, particularly with two young children.

Our Proposal

Due to the nature of the client’s job, and their passion for interior design, the composition and design of the decking space was easy and the NeoTimber® Deluxe capped composite deck board ticked all the boxes. A busy lifestyle meant they needed something low maintenance that would look beautiful all year-round, and with having children – something durable was a must-have; therefore, Deluxe Grey was the clear choice.

The added capped feature which reduced maintenance levels and provided the client with that peace of mind that any everyday spills would be easy to clean up. The deck space was perfectly situated to ensure the internal floor extended outwards and the contrast remained subtle and in keeping with a modern contemporary grey-coloured look and feel.
