Introducing NeoTimber’s anti-slip decking strips, designed to provide extra grip to the surface of your deck boards.
At NeoTimber®, we are always looking for ways to refine and expand upon our composite decking. Because of this, we have developed our anti-slip decking strips, designed to be fixed to your decking boards for a greater grip under your feet. Lightweight and with a faux grit/gravel texture, these strips work in tandem with the realistic woodgrain and grooved textures of our composite deck boards, to offer you more support, better slip resistance, more stability, and most importantly, more peace of mind when walking upon your decking space.
Easy To Install
With many additional extras and supplementary accessories available, there can be the added complications that arise when putting them into place with an existing project. Don’t fret; here at NeoTimber®, we have designed our anti-slip decking strips to be incredibly easy to install, simply sitting in the centre of your deck boards. These strips come supplied at 3.6 m lengths and can be applied retrospectively once your decking project has been installed. There’s always room for improvement; by installing our anti-decking slips, you ensure that your composite decking build is safer, a must if your space gets a lot of usage or is situated in an area with high rainfall. Installing the anti-slip decking strips after your initial build does not void your existing NeoTimber® warranty.
Colour-Matched To NeoTimber® Composite Decking
We understand how important it is for your composite decking to retain its good looks, so with this in mind, we have designed our anti-slip decking strips to perfectly match the colour of your existing NeoTimber® decking boards. Available in our range of 5 premium colours, including our natural-effect teak and chocolate tones, our neutral, modern antique and grey hues, or our sumptuous, rich, black charcoal, our anti-slip decking strips will seamlessly blend in with your completed existing decking projects.
Enhanced Slip Resistance
Whilst all of our composite decking boards are designed to be as slip-resistant as possible, a little extra help never goes amiss. The anti-slip decking strips are the perfect additional support for those areas where slips and falls may be of greater frequency, such as commercial decking spaces that experience high footfall, or decking builds near swimming pools or other bodies of water. For greater slip resistance, we recommend laying your decking in the direction of the footfall, horizontally as opposed to in longitude, using the grooved side of the boards as opposed to the woodgrain texture.
